I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I have just returned from 3 months in New Zealand where Vibiemme Domobar espresso machines appear to be very popular. In fact, my three brothers-in-law each have this unit and swear by it. (I enjoyed many excellent coffees brewed with this equipment while I was there.)

In checking the web, I have found many positive reviews of the machine.

I know that they are available in the USA, but I am attempting to locate a Canadian source for the purchase of a 110volt unit for my home.

I am interested in either the Vibiemme Domobar Super manual or semi-automatic unit in 110 volt, Tank version.

Does anyone know of a Canadian vendor of Vibiemme espresso machines?

You might have trouble finding a Canadian vendor for a Domobar. I've tried to find Canadian vendors that offer a decent selection of higher end heat exchangers and I haven't yet. Caffe Tech has a pretty good selection of good machines but they're pricey.

A few Canadian vendors also carry the EMC Giotto Premium. Faema in Toronto is one of them.

I think quite a few US vendors have exclusive distribution rights on some machines so you have to go through them or partner companies to get them. It accounts for the anemic selection of good equipment in Canada, or so I've been told.

I am carrying the Vibiemme Domobar line now in Canada. You can see my profile for info.

I also carry the Isomac line, ECM, the Silvia (of course), and Le'Lit.

Sorry for the commercial post.....
